Jim Hoey was onboard the USS Henry B. Wilson (DDG-7) from February 1974 to August 1977 and made both the 1975 and 1976 Westpac's.  He was "on-watch" in Combat Information Center (CIC) assigned as the ships Air Search Operator for Operations Eagle Pull, Frequent Wind and the Rescue and Recovery of the SS Mayaguez and crew.  Went on to serve 26 years in the Navy, and 14 years working for the Department of the Navy (DON) at SPAWAR San Diego, CA.
